In 1989, Mike Peery started Wanship Transportation with two trucks and a dream. Since that humble beginning, his son Dallas has taken over the reins and added some talented and dedicated team members who have made Wanship what it is today, a fleet of over 80 trucks that provide refrigerated LTL second-day service to most points in the west.
Mike left the business due to his ailing health in 2001. Mike’s fatherly role was filled by Bruce Brinkerhoff. His guidance and experience would help channel Dallas’ energy and begin the process of conservative yet, steady and controlled growth for nearly two decades. Bruce retired in late 2020 and left processes and successful practices behind that will pay dividends far into the future.
What will ensure Wanship continues this tradition of success in the future? Simple, we will keep doing what we’ve been been doing; taking care of people like they are family and providing great service to customers. We treat every shipment as if it is the only one. Of course doing all of it with the classiest drivers and equipment on the road.
