Founded in 2013 by Mohamed Ali, Ohio Transit Company is built on the old-school values of acting with integrity and delivering exceptional service to clients and brokers alike. Growing steadily over the last 9 years, we are extending the reach and capabilities while maintaining a personal approach to third-party logistics carrier (3PL).
With considerable experience and multi-generational ties to the produce industry, our focus in the beginning was primarily on over-the-road transport of produce. Now, our focus has broadened to include a range of freight shipping cargo, including produce, dry goods, refrigerated goods, frozen foods, food packaging, warehousing, LTL and much more. We have gained a strong reputation in our industry for providing timely, cost-effective transport solutions, specializing in dry freight and refrigerated trucking.
At OTC our number one priority is that all OTC drivers and owner- operators go home safe. To do this we at OTC adhere to a rigorous, zero tolerance safety protocol. Maintaining a personal approach to third-party logistics carrier, the Ohio Transit Company has about 200 highway units in total, including trucks and trailers. Every September, we conduct a thorough inspection of our entire fleet, this includes every unit to every tire ensuring we are prepared for all road conditions. This check is on top of the yearly safety inspection, our quarterly maintenance work, and our daily pre and post trip inspections.
