Chalk Mountain Services of Texas

About

In 2006, Mindy Laudermill and her brother Truitt Kimbrough, along with their late father Max Kimbrough and long-time business associate, Gerald Curry, founded Chalk Mountain Services of Texas. However, the legacy of Chalk Mountain Services began long before the company was born in 2006.

Max started Kimbrough Transport, Inc. in the 1970’s with one truck hauling milk from his dairy farm. Eventually Max sold the dairy farm, but continued his trucking services for local grocery stores.

In 2006, lots of activity was happening around the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex related to the oil & gas industry. Max, Mindy, Truitt and Gerald developed a business plan after Max was approached by an oil and gas company operating in the Barnett Shale. They developed a plan to haul production and flow back water from nearby gas wells. Chalk Mountain Services was then born.

Chalk Mountain Services has evolved into a transportation and logistics leader in the Oilfield Service Industry, managing the transportation and logistics of sand and water in the Eagle Ford Shale and the Delaware Basin, with locations across Texas.
