Waymon and Barbara Hemmings founded B.A.H. Express, Inc. in May of 1990 with seven tractors and seven trailers. By May of 1991 the company was beginning to grow so they recruited their son Mike to assist with the expansion. In January of 1993 their daughter Kathy joined the team. Over the next twenty-eight years, B.A.H. continued its growth and now is considered to be a highly diversified and financially sound transportation company. Conveniently located in Atlanta, GA with a warehouse, distribution center, and a full service maintenance faciity, B.A.H. currently operates a fleet of 300 company owned late model tractors and 700 late model trailers.
In September of 2004, the company purchased a second location in Concord, North Carolina, that has a 48-door, 31,000 sq. ft. warehouse, distribution center, and a full service maintenance faciity. A third terminal was later acquired in June of 2006 based out of Calhoun, Georgia which also includes a full service maintenance facility. Our fourth terminal in Kings Mountain, NC was opened in 2013 also has a warehouse, distribution center, and a full service maintenance faciity. In addition to the four terminals, B.A.H. also has satellite locations in Knoxville, TN and New Orleans, LA.
