6th Man Movers was founded in 2013 by Jacob Greer, a Memphis native turned Nashville transplant. Having moved furniture for a friend’s father’s moving company in Memphis growing up, it’s a business Jacob knew well and enjoyed, so he jumped when he had the opportunIty to start his own business. A perpetual problem solver, Jacob enjoys helping others—especially when it comes to moving day—arguably one of the most stressful days many of us encounter. More than just moving people from point A to B, Jacob enjoys the process of custom fitting the crews to a client’s specific needs and is a master at providing flexibility and understanding to help make the process as smooth as possible.
